Dear Babe Ruth Parent:

 

On behalf of the Officers and Board of Directors of Marinette Youth Baseball, I would like to welcome you and your child to the 2013 baseball/softball season. We hope that you will support your child's participation in our program by attending the games and by giving encouragement to your child throughout the year. In addition, we request your help and cooperation in seeing that your child attends all practices and games that have been scheduled for his/her team. Please support your child's coaches, and offer your help when you can.

 

TRYOUTS for team assignments for BASEBALL players are set for Saturday, April 13th, in the Marinette Civic Center Domes. Players should report at the following times:

            ALL 5’s AND NEW 6’s YEAR OLDS________________9:00 A.M.

ALL 7’s AND NEW 8 YEAR OLDS _______________10:00 A.M.

ALL 9’s AND NEW 10 YEAR OLDS _______________11:00 A.M.

ALL 11’s AND NEW 12 YEAR OLDS ______________12:00 A.M.

ALL 13’s YEAR OLDS ________________________  1:00 P.M.

             ALL 14’s AND NEW 15 YEAR OLDS_____________  2:00 P.M.

ALL 7 & NEW 8 YEAR OLDS __________ ___________________Noon

ALL 9-& NEW 10YEAR OLDS _____________________________1:00 P.M.

             ALL 11 & NEW 12 YEAR OLDS ____________________________2:00 P.M.       

ALL 13, AND NEW 14,15,16 YEAR OLDS____________________3:00 P.M                     

 

 

                                          RULES FOR USE OF BABE RUTH EQUIPMENT

All parents must sign a receipt accepting responsibility for the care and return of all uniforms and equipment before it will be issued. Uniforms are expensive items that are intended to last for several years. They are to be washed after every game. Repair any minor tears immediately. They must be returned clean, or you will be charged a $10 fee. Players are NOT to wear their uniforms to practice or for everyday use. They are to be worn for Games Only. All equipment and uniforms issued must be returned at the end of the season on the date set at that time. Players NOT returning their uniform or any part of their uniform will be charged as follows:

  Pants-$25.00    Jerseys-$25.00    Belts-$15.00   

 

You will also be billed the replacement cost of any equipment issued to you but not returned. Take good care of your equipment; you may be issued the same supplies next year.
